2 Tbsp dried black eyed peas
1/2 cup diced tomato
1/4 tsp turmeric
salt to taste
3/4 cup water
Directions:
Put all the ingredients in a 1 quart crockpot and cook on low for 4-6 hours.
**For a complete meal, serve with 1 1/2 cup vegetable (green beans, kale salad) and 1 serving of grain (corn bread).
